  The Finance & Accounting functions of the Group come under Executive Chairman's purview. In his prior years, he worked in plantation engineering both in operations as well as project management in Malaysia and Indonesia including Sime Darby Plantations and the Sinar Mas Group.

  Thoo holds a B. Sc. In Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Galsgow, Scotland and also M Sc in Management Science from Imperial College, University of London.

  Mr William Choo Wing Hong
  Managing Director

  "As a 22-year veteran of the CNC (computer numerical control) precision engineering industry, William Choo brings a very strong combination of experiences to his role as Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer of the Notion Group. He is responsible for the Group's product development and technology visions."

  Before founding Notion Venture Sdn Bhd in 1995, the principal manufacturing arm of the Group, William Choo built his engineering career with Fujitsu Electronics Sdn Bhd, Johor, TPK Engeering Pte Ltd, Singapore, Motorola (M) Sdn Bhd, Sungei Way, Yamazen Sdn Bhd, Selangor and Preciturn Sdn Bhd, Bangi.

  William took pains to learn from each of these organizations and contributed positively to the growth of some of these companies. He also developed his interest in design, product development, tooling, jigs & fixtures, programming, all the major metal working processes, quality assurance and other engineering skills.William holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology, Kuala Lumpur.

  Mr Lee Tian Yoke
  Executive Director

  "As Executive Director of Sales & Marketing of the Notion Group, Lee Tian Yoke leads the marketing organization for the SLR camera and Interchangeable Lens segment as well as concentrating on the Electronic Braking System segment. Increasing Lee will also take the company to the next level in developing new business opportunities in technical products and developing in-house branding."

  Lee is also founder shareholder of the Group and has contributed much to the continuing success of the Group's business of being a large scale global supplier of precision metal parts to mainly MNC customers.

  Lee being a 18-year veteran of the CNC precision engineering industry started his sales career with Metalcraft Trading Sdn Bhd and also Preciturn Sdn Bhd where he befriended William Choo and later joined hands to start up Notion Venture Sdn Bhd.

  He holds a Certificate in Marketing from the HELP Institute, Kuala Lumpur and has attended numerous managerial and marketing training for self development.

  Mr John Choo Wing Onn
  Executive Director

  "John Choo, is the Executive Director in charge of the operations of the manufacturing of the Group and therefore he plays a key role as the Chief Operating Officer in the efficient and cost effective running. John also oversees the direct customer account of a major HDD maker in order to supply in high volume the high precision quality parts required."

  Although John is a late comer into the CNC precision industry, he has proven to have picked up much technical knowledge in the many engineering aspects of the manufacture.

  John has a sales and marketing background after having worked in American Express Malaysia Sdn Bhd and later in a pharmaceutical concern Schering Plough Sdn Bhd.

  He holds a Certificate in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom.

  Mr Jerry Choo Wing Yew
  Executive Director

  "Mr Jerry Choo joined the Notion Group as Financial Controller in May 2005 and is the key financial person of the Group. Jerry Choo was appointed to the Board on 10 November 2009."

  He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, united Kingdom and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He started his professional career with Deloitte Kassim Chan & Co., a public accounting firm in 1983. Later in 1990, he moved into financial management positions in various corporations including public companies.

  Dato’ Abu Bakar bin Mohd Nor
  Independent Non-Executive Director

  "Joined Notion VTech Bhd as Independent non Executive Director on May 1, 2018. A graduate in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Wales and qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts, England & Wales (ICAEW) in 1980."

  Dato’ Abu Bakar’s various senior managerial positions previously held include Managing Director, Saujana Consolidated Bhd, Managing Director Tradewinds Bhd, Executive Director Landmarks Berhad and Chief Executive Peremba Bhd.

  Dato’ Abu Bakar, 65 years of age, is currently a Director/Advisor of Peremba Malaysia Sdn Bhd, an investment holding company. Todate, Dato’ Abu Bakar also sits on board of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) as well as other hospitality related companies.

  Ms Teh Su-Ching
  Independent Non-Executive Director

  "Ms Teh Su-Ching was appointed to the Board on 2 August 2021. She is the Chairperson of the Audit and Risk Management Committee as well as a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees."

  In 2010, she joined Tonik Asia Group as a Chief Finance Officer. Thereafter, she joined Tradewinds Plantation Berhad (“Tradewinds”) as a Head of Business Development. Midway in her career in Tradewinds, she switched her role to a General Manager of Finance and involved in project management and handled several key initiatives in Information Technology, Human Resources, Legal and Finance Department.

  Su-Ching is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
